Nonprofit Management Intern
Position Summary: Looking for fun interesting work that helps support our community? Ozaukee Nonprofit Center (ONC) is looking for a team player to help us manage our nonprofit community and the programs we provide. Are you looking for an internship to develop your skills AND provide you with important and valuable connections? The ONC is a mission-driven organization dedicated to making a positive difference across our Ozaukee County community.
Reports to: CEO
Duties and Responsibilities:
Intern will assist the Executive Director with general nonprofit and office management tasks such as:
- Learn the day to day ropes of managing a nonprofit community center
- Work with nonprofit partner, affiliate, and member agencies
- Manage and recruit volunteers
- Participate in community outreach
- Help maintain Ozaukee Nonprofit Center community center and building
- Work with ONC donors and supporters – donor management and reporting
- Conduct research, identification, and solicitation for nonprofits
- Work with the ONC Board & Committees
- In collaboration with ONC staff, provide marketing, planning and logistical support for our programs with a focus on learning what is needed to develop, crease and implement programs
- Assist with date entry, community outreach, and marketing projects related to our programs with a focus on learning what is needed to support program collaborations
- Special projects based on area of interest and approved by ONC Executive Director
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorms
- Helping with general office functions including working with Office Administrator, Special Events Coordinator and other projects as assigned
Hours: Hours are flexible, based on availability and flexibility (up to 20 hours per week)
