About the Internship
This paid sales internship is a hands-on opportunity for college students interested in sales, marketing, business, or entrepreneurship. You will gain real-world experience working directly with homeowners, supporting neighborhood outreach, and learning how a local service business grows.
No prior sales or pest control experience required; training provided.
What You will Do
- Represent the company professionally with strong on brand messaging
- Residential sales and customer education; communicate clearly and professionally
- Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies
- Territory & neighborhood outreach prospect & lead generation
- Attend local marketing, Chamber of Commerce events and community promotions
- Execute structured canvassing, cloverleafing, and doorstep follow-up
- Build awareness through yard signs, zone targeting, and referral-driven outreach
- Festivals, community days, and seasonal markets
- Local sponsorship events
- Track leads and activity using basic CRM tools

Qualifications
Required
- Currently enrolled in college or recent graduate

- Customer service or retail experience
- Commercial Pesticide Certification and/or License
