Business Development Intern
The Business Development Intern supports aspects of the sales process. The position will be responsible to assist the Marketing Analyst and Business Development Specialist as needed. The primary focus of this role will be supporting the company's new initiative to implement a new Customer Relations Management (CRM) system. This will include data migration strategy and data input. Market and customer research projects will also be assigned as deemed necessary by the Business Development Manager.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Currently pursuing their bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Finance preferred
Travel: 0-5%
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. Ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists with Business Intelligence Research (Markets, Clients, and Prospects).
Works with Account Leaders to update account plans and growth strategies.
Assists with data analysis and creating visualizations and presentations (Power BI, Salesforce, Excel, Etc.)
Assists Sales Ops team with Salesforce Enhancements, Data Governance, and other initiatives related to CRM and Service Platform.
Supports Sandler Sales Strategy Program.
Supports Strategic Engagement / Customer Appreciation Events.
Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
- Collaborate with other teams to help put together an Analytical Landscape document that would lay out what other dashboards and reports exist outside of our team. The document would list the key metrics they contain, their data sources, and pipelines.
- Assist with Customer Pareto & Scorecard Automation project
- Gather Business Intelligence information used in current BI documents for helping with current initiatives and Customer Lifetime Value Forecasting project (heavy on vertical market research)
- Gather and clean data related to customer historical spend
- Potential Power BI dashboard design
- Create charts in Excel to support ongoing initiatives
