Collections Assistant - STEP
This position will assist the curator of the Neil A. Harriman Herbarium at UW Oshkosh in the maintenance and digitization of specimens.
Specific job duties include; inventorying specimens, preparing plant specimens, filing new specimens in the collection, taking images of specimens for the digital collection, and transferring specimen data and images into an online database. This position will provide experience in data entry and database management. They will also gain experience in more specialized skills associated with herbarium collection management.
