Student Research Assistant - University Choirs Accompanist

The Department of Music is seeking accompanists for our choirs. The positions will be funded through the Office of Student Research and Creative Activity as a Student Research Assistantship. Please see below for desired skills and responsibilities.

-Accomplished collaborative pianist

-Advanced sight-reading skills required

-Ability to read open score

-Ability to work cooperatively and insightfully with ensemble director

-Communicate regularly with ensemble director in preparation for each rehearsal

-Be prepared to assist choir and director in rehearsals at each class meeting

-Accompany University Choirs during rehearsals & concerts

-Practice, as needed, for upcoming concerts
