Office Assistant

  • Monitor remote team chat to assist with issues as they arise in the absence of the director and the program specialist
  • Reply, direct, and organize email
  • Organize and collect data and information as assigned by the director and the program specialist
  • Maintain the schedule in the absence of the director and the program specialist
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports, at the direction of the director and the program specialist
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures, at the direction of the director and the program specialist
  • Provide general support to visitors in online Zoom office
  • Serve as resource and point of contact for visitors, staff, and stakeholders in the absence of the director and the program specialist

Requirements and skills

  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as to contribute to the team
  • Ability to learn office management systems and procedures
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to talk others through tech issues 
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Sharepoint, Outlook) and Google Apps (Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms)
