This position is responsible for building and maintaining web applications to support UW Oshkosh staff and students. Our main product is MyUWO which is built with ASP.NET MVC. You will collaborate with other programmers to migrate MyUWO to a modern tech stack utilizing Angular and .NET Core. Other tools in our modern tech stack include Docker, GitLab, Sentry, Jira, Confluence and Amazon Web Services. Preference given to Spring 2025 or later graduates.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications adhering to standards
  • Correspond with clients and coworkers in a timely manner
  • Research new technologies to stay current and innovate
  • Assist other programmers with ideas and problem solving
  • Other duties as assigned

Schedule:

Minimum of 15 hours a week scheduled, with a maximum of 20 during the semester with ability to work remote. 

Hours must be a set schedule with in these guidelines:

  • Monday thru Thursday between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
  • Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
  • At least two hours a shift, maximum of 8 paid hours a day.
  • Minimum of four days a week.

Be willing to have a mix of morning, afternoon or evening hours if coverage is needed.
