Late Night Programming Assistant

Job Summary:     

This position helps with the management of the late night programming. This includes Titan Nights, that is held in Reeve Union every month on Friday nights during the Fall and Spring semesters as well as any emerging late night programs. Must have good interpersonal skills; able to follow oral instructions; be flexible and able to work independently. Duties consist of working to implement successful weekend programming including working in Reeve Union.

1. Knowledge of Reeve Memorial Union policies and procedures.     

2. Effective verbal and written communication skills.

3. Ability to set up and take down event equipment.

4. Ability to work in a team-based environment.

5. Knowledge of student’s interests and needs for evening and weekend events.

6. Providing excellent customer services to all participants of events.

Primary job responsibility

1. Survey distribution during events

2. Pre-event preparation

3. Hospitality for performers

4. Load in/out for various events

5. Event management tasks during the program

6. Staffing of specific events that require special staffing needs

7. Cleaning of food court/removal of trash and recycling following late night food

8. Attending staff meetings

9. Assist the Program Advisor for Reeve Union Board and Late Night Programs with tasks throughout the programs as assigned

10. Representing student’s interests in late night and evening programming
