Anthropology Lab Assistant

Lab assistants are asked to have knowledge of general archaeological methods and concepts such as those taught in various anthropology courses. Emphasis will be placed on applicants that have participated in Intro to Archaeology (Anthro 208), Archaeological Analysis (Anthro 363), and Human Osteology (Anthro 374). 

Other experience may include, but is not limited to, Cultural Resource Management, data entry and management including database experience, museum experience, and geographic information systems (GIS). 

Respectful attitudes towards Indigenous peoples and professional colleagues is mandatory. Respectful treatment of archaeological collections and responsible treatment of equipment and other items in the lab is a must.
