Director of Staff

The Director of Staff serves at the pleasure of the OSG President to carry out any and all OSG operations.

The qualifications of the Director of Staff include:

  • Completed two (2) consecutive semesters at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh
  • Attained a 2.0 cumulative grade point average prior to taking office

The responsibilities of the Director of Staff include:

  1. Direct all administrative, financial, and operational activities within student government;
  2. Administer the appointment of students to campus committees
  3. Organize Executive Board functions and activities
  4. Serve at the discretion of the President;
  5. Supervise the Communications Director, the Food Pantry Director, and all other directors overseen by OSG;
  6. Coordinate with and assist the OSG Directors with projects and responsibilities
  7. Assist the President with working with local businesses to widen the influence of student government
  8. Maintain a 2.0 grade point average while serving in this office;
  9. Serve on the OSG Executive Board and receives one (1) vote during these meetings.
