Communications Director

Job Summary: 

This position will assist the Student Engagement & Campus Life advisors by creating and coordinating communication with campus partners and key stakeholders for programs and events. The areas this position will work directly with are: fraternity & sorority life (FSL), campus-wide/community events, and student engagement programs. Audiences include current students, parents/guardians, alumni, campus administration, and more. No FSL experience is required. 

Job Duties:

  • Create and distribute weekly newsletters to general FSL members about upcoming programs and deadlines, including feature stories
  • Assist with the promotion of student programs (Speaker Series events, Alternative Break service trips)
  • Manage and create content for the FSL Family & Alumni social media pages
  • Assist with the promotion of campus-wide programs like Titan Fest and Celebration of Student Leadership
  • Redesign and publish the FSL Alumni Magazine alongside other student employees, distributed once a semester
