Student Assistant - Summer Painting Assistant

Job Summary: 

Summer Painting Assistants provide a wide range of functions to make the appearance of Reeve Memorial Union more attractive to our guests.

A. Requirements 

• Enrolled with a minimum of 6 credits 

• Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA 

• Availability based on position 

• Effective communication skills and customer service mindset 

• Support an inclusive environment 

• Knowledge of Reeve Union policies and procedures 

B. Responsibilities 

•     Prepare the work area including covering furniture, plumbing fixtures and light fixtures

• Painting surfaces using various techniques (ie. Brushes, rollers)
• Maintain and clean painting equipment

• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

o Complete detailed and routine tasks 

o Demonstrate attention to detail 

o Learn new tasks quickly and accurately 

o Work both independently and as part of a team o Assist with maintenance of equipment 

o Little or no experience required
